Cole Parker's stories tend to come with a message, and this sweet and always interesting 36 chapters is no exception. Actually several messages, but the most important is that we have a lot of choice about who we are and want to be and that we have a responsibility to choose well for our own happiness and for the happiness of others. I think that's a pretty good message and I really enjoyed the authors way of exemplifying its importance.
Cole Parker writes with a wonderful empathy for his characters and a credible teenage voice, but his perceptions and wisdom are those of an adult making the story a great read for young and old alike. One day Nickleodeon will get to make award winning TV entertainment from his stories which have just as much moral worth as Sabrina and every bit as much fun.
