Some Day Out of the Blue by Little Buddha TW

This lengthy 26 chapters document less than two turbulent years in the life of 15 year old Connor.  Connor is poor and lives with a drug addict drunk mother in a trailer that is letting the other trailers in the park down.  He meets Ryan, the doctors son and his brother Toby after an unfortunate and painful encounter with a lacrosse ball.

The stage is set for another poor boy meets rich boys and fall in love forever cliche, but that's not how this one goes.  Little Buddha gets under the skin of the characters with his writing, and as the story progresses we share Connor's confused and untrained emotions as he loves and hurts and is loved and hurt by those around him.

Throughout it all is the music of Elton John (hence the title), Connor's favourite both to hear and to play and sing.  A great story and one that we should be able to buy the soundtrack for!

Thank you for reviewing LittleBuddha story.. Pity, LB hasn't updated his website for a long time and left his another exceptional work unfinished.

I always visit this site in order to check some of the best stories in the net.

I recently discovered the works of John Francis aka The Pecman. I read three of his stories, and all of them were great. His first, a semi-autobiographical story ,'Groovy Kind Of Love' is one of the most passionate and heartbreaking teen love story I have ever read. While the second, 'Jagged Angel' , a thriller is just as good. His ongoing series, 'Pieces of Destiny', probably his best, is a quirky and humorous adventure of a teen who is stranded into the past, i.e. in the 19th century America.

I recommend this to you, because probably you might share my enjoyment reading the author. Hoping for your review. Thanks again and God bless.

About this site

I've read a lot of stories about gay boys at school or of school age.  Some have a lot of sex in, some don't.  The thing I enjoy most is when the story is well written and written in such a way that I care about the protagonists.  Some may tell you something new, some remind you of your own experience.

Some will surprise or even shock.  I like every story I list on this site.  I think they are all worth reading and my thanks go out to all the authors who have so freely shared their talents and imagination with others.

All bar a couple of the stories listed here are complete.  Those that are not probably never will be and finished at a point that leaves a story worth reading.
